Lockett Bros is an independently operated wine merchant from North Berwick on Scotlands east coast.
We're mad for wine here at Locketts and have a passion for it that's off the scale. This passion and love affair with wine began whilst harvesting grapes in Central Otago, New Zealand, during a two year journey through the antipodies. Three years later the dream became a reality when I opened the doors to my own shop in 2004.

- It is a boutique winery with capacity to produce 15,000 litres of wine. While concentrating its small production on Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay, both being varieties that grow well in Gisborne, it has recently added Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Cabernet Franc to its range. While still very young, Amor-Bendall Wines has collected over 80 medals and media awards since establishment. Of recent note was the award for Champion Sauvignon Blanc at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards 2004. Amor-Bendall continues to be a winery worth watching.

- "I have recommended this before but it's such a sublime wine that, with spring upon us, I thought I must flag it up again. Pale straw in the glass, it has a super-concentrated nose of freshly cut grass, asparagus and pear.
