93 points, Tim Atkin, 15 Jan 2011 Made in a consciously ripe style, according to Judd, but this still seems elegant by the standards of some of the sweeter, more tropical Marlborough styles. It’s stylish and restrained with notes of coriander, grapefruit and lemongrass and a crisp, tangy minerality that wouldn’t look out of place in Sancerre. Imbibe, Chris Losh, 01 Jan 11 This is very high-class stuff. A complex, smoky minerality on the nose persists right through the longtextured palate. A grown-up wine that shows New Zealand Sauvignon can work well with food. Peter Richards, 21 Jan 11 Lovely flinty nose with hints of nettles. On the palate it has elegant texture and real persistence. Delicious stuff. The Sunday Times, Style Magazine, Bob Tyrer, 16 Jan 11 Exquisite mix of minerals and grapefruit.

Passionfruit and guava characters with a subtly herbal undercurrent. It has pristine fruit purity and a good balance of subtle sweetness against acidity giving a soft, yet dry finish. A classic example of the Marlborough style.
