The wine is intense ruby red in colour and has a deep purple hue. The nose has intense cassis and plum notes with the characteristic Meerlust minerality and hints of Indian ink, chocolate and fennel. The palate is rich with juicy fruit, silky refined tannins and layered complexity, opening to a soft, seductive mouthfeel with a lingering aftertaste. Grape: 86 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot.
