Description: 94pts “A fragrant bouquet and high-toned palate, quality oak an essential part of the wine; an almost European restraint in its make-up. James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2010
Details: Powerful and deep in dark berry flavors, but almost shockingly lithe and precise, displaying fresh raspberry and blueberry on the back. An undercurrent of juicy acidity contributes lift and precision, and helps to extend the finish. This terrific shiraz offers a deft balance of finesse and depth, not to mention impressive finishing clarity and cut.
The Logan 2007 Shiraz is a deep burgundy colour, showing white and black pepper, blackberry, star anise and nutmeg aromas. The soft but full palate has flavours of plum, allspice and sarsaparilla with a lingering finish.
