Details: WINEMAKING: After crushing, the grapes were inoculated with SYRAH yeast. The cap was pumped over two times a day during the 10 day fermentation period. After malolactic fermentation
half the wine was matured in 2, 3 and 4 year old French and American Hogsheads for 14 months. The remaining 50% was matured in stainless steel to maximise fruit. The wine was
lightly fi ltered before bottling.

The Logan 2005 Shiraz is a deep burgundy colour, showing white and black pepper, blackberry, star anise and nutmeg aromas. The soft but full palate has flavours of plum, allspice and sarsaparilla with a lingering finish.

balanced with hints of raspberry and black cherry, and the palate is soft and generous with flavours of red berries and cherries which are complimented withcomplex oak and savoury spice.
