  • Description: The rich aroma shows character of plum and spice with blackberry and dark cherry flavours on a soft palate.
  • Details: WINEMAKING: After crushing, the grapes were inoculated with SYRAH yeast. The cap was pumped over two times a day during the 10 day fermentation period. After malolactic fermentation half the wine was matured in 2, 3 and 4 year old French and American Hogsheads for 14 months. The remaining 50% was matured in stainless steel to maximise fruit. The wine was lightly fi ltered before bottling.
