Bruichladdich

Bruichladdich has been transformed since 2000 from a worthy but rather dull distillery into one of the most exciting, recognisable and innovative brands, not only on Islay, but in the entire whisky world. This has been down to many factors, but chief amongst these must be the marriage of the marketing genius of Mark Reynier and his team

95 Points - Jim Murray "If you've got a good half an hour to spend, try using it intelligently by sticking your nose in this for a while: the grape is sweet and sultana juicy; the understated spices somehow hit just the right point to satisfy the grape, oak and barley in one hit. Possibly the most delicate and understated of all the truly great whiskies of the year. Not one for the ice and water brigade."
