Charmes de Kirwan, Margaux 2021
The second wine of Third Growth Chateau Kirwan this is beautifully silky Margaux. Rich and well-balanced with lovely fresh and ripe cassis and cherry fruit that rolls over the palate in a powerful wave. The effect continues into a long and succulent finish and leaves me thinking this is less a second wine and more a special cuvée.
Blending : 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Petit Verdot
