The Daftmill 2012 Summer Release is a refined Lowland single malt, distilled in 2012 and bottled for the Summer 2025 release. Crafted from 23 first-fill bourbon barrels and limited to just 5,250 bottles, this expression is presented at a natural colour and bottled at 46% ABV, showcasing the purity and elegance of Daftmill’s house style. Produced using Concerto barley grown on the family’s own Fife estate, this whisky reflects a deep connection to the land and an uncompromising approach to quality.

Nestled in the heart of the Kingdom of Fife, Daftmill Distillery is a true rarity in the Scotch whisky world. A working farm distillery, it was established in 2005 by the Cuthbert family and remains fiercely independent. With production limited to the farm’s quiet seasons—summer and winter—only around 100 casks are filled each year. This seasonal distilling, combined with traditional methods and complete control over their barley crop, ensures a whisky of remarkable character and provenance.
