Lochlea 6yo – 50%

Last year’s 5 Year Old release flew off the shelves, and we are expecting nothing different with the upcoming 6 Year Old. It is the oldest liquid we have bottled to date and is very limited with only 2,500 bottles available globally.

Similar to last year’s release, we have hand selected 6 outstanding casks from our warehouses to match the 6 Year Old age statement. Using all first fill casks, we have used a combination of Oloroso Sherry butts, and Bourbon barrels to give flavours of sweet figs, red grapes and milk chocolate, followed by panna cotta, malt biscuits and honey. As usual, the signature Lochlea cereal note comes through in the finish to round off a dram we are particularly proud of.
